2. ONE VOICE
Representing more than 100 members, the PKHBA serves as an advocate for the industry when issues arise that pertain to residential construction. By lobbying local government, the PKHBA can ensure the industry’s message is effectively communicated.
The PKHBA keeps its members abreast of the latest technical issues that affect the industry, and there is a multitude of educational material available through all three levels of the Association. Conferences/seminars that address specific areas of issue are scheduled each year, such as PKHBA’s Educational Speaker Series and OHBA’s “Building & Renovation Forum”.
“As a builder, renovator, tradesperson, supplier, or service provider, being a member is one of the best business decisions you can make. The potential for networking, furthering your education, and keeping abreast of current affairs is unparalleled. The PKHBA is your voice locally, provincially, and federally to ensure that today’s issues are brought to the attention of all levels of government that have an impact on how you operate your business tomorrow.”
Paul Dietrich – Parkview Homes

The networking, access to professional training in various disciplines, from technical knowledge to business skills development, and current industry information is ongoing. It’s been a steady stream of information and education, allowing myself to grow as a builder and allow our company to stay ahead in an industry that is extremely complex and constantly changing.
